Congratulations to students Isaac Mondon and Charlie Ellis who were awarded prizes at this year’s Faculty of Medicine Research Conference. Isaac won a commendation for his talk ‘A genetic analysis of chronic proteolytic stress in the retinal pigment epithelium’. Charlie secured the prize for the best poster: ‘A pH-dependent fluorescent CypHer5E probe to investigate lysosomal proteolysis in retinal pigment epithlium (RPE) cells’.
